Temitope Balogun Joshua, widely known as Prophet T.B. Joshua, was a spiritual leader whose life defied convention and drew global attention. Born in Arigidi-Akoko, Nigeria, he came from humble beginnings and was reportedly in his mother’s womb for 15 months. Despite early struggles and dropping out of school, he developed a deep hunger for God and a unique prophetic gift that would shape his destiny. In 1987, with just eight members, he founded The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) — a church that would grow to attract thousands of worshippers weekly, both locally and internationally. Known for his healing services, deliverance ministry, and prophetic insight, T.B. Joshua was a polarizing yet powerful figure in global Christianity. Through Emmanuel TV, he reached millions across Africa, Asia, and South America, offering messages of hope, prayer, and breakthrough. He was deeply charitable, donating to widows, orphans, disaster victims, and communities in need. His motto, "The greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it," defined his approach to both ministry and service. Though some questioned his methods, few denied his impact. T.B. Joshua's sudden death in 2021 shocked the world — yet his followers continue to carry on the fire he lit. He is remembered not only for his miracles, but for his message of love, humility, and prophetic calling.
