Their Story
Jakob Aaron Butturff was an accomplished left-handed professional ten-pin bowler who represented the United States on the international stage. Based in Chandler, Arizona, he was a respected member of the Professional Bowlers Association and competed regularly on the PBA Tour, earning eight national titles including one major championship. His skill and consistency were further demonstrated by 27 PBA Regional Tour victories, establishing him as a formidable competitor throughout his career. In 2019, Butturff achieved a remarkable milestone when he became only the 28th bowler to roll a televised 300 game on the PBA Tour, a feat that exemplified his technical mastery of the sport. Throughout his career, he was supported by partnerships with leading equipment manufacturers, including Columbia 300 and later Hammer Bowling, as well as sponsorship from Vise Grips. Butturff competed as a member of Team USA in international events, bringing recognition to American bowling on the global level. He passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 32.
