With pearls around her neck and scripture in her heart, she led Bible studies, mentored young women, and hosted Sunday dinners filled with warmth and cornbread. Her voice in the choir was as full as her smile on the porch swing. Known for her calm wisdom and sharp wit, Evelyn was a safe harbor to many.
