Their Story

Andrzej Morozowski was one of Poland's most recognized journalists and television personalities, whose career spanned over three decades in broadcast media. Born in Warsaw to a Polish-Jewish family, he studied theatre studies before pivoting to journalism in the transformative early 1990s. He began his career at Radio ZET while simultaneously working as a parliamentary correspondent for Polish Television's Teleexpress program, then joined the newly launched TVN 24 in 2001, where he became a fixture of Polish political television. His most celebrated work came from co-hosting the influential political program "Teraz my!" (Now We) with Tomasz Sekielski from 2005 to 2010, and later from hosting his long-running show "Tak jest" (That's How It Is), where he conducted substantive conversations with politicians and experts about current events. Throughout his career, Morozowski received numerous prestigious awards including the Grand Press Award and the Andrzej Woyciechowski Award, recognition of his commitment to factual, reliable journalism grounded in respect for democratic principles. He was married to journalist Agata Nowakowska and had a son, Jan.
