Their Story
Zsanett Németh was a dedicated Hungarian wrestler who represented her country on the international stage with distinction. She began her competitive career at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore, demonstrating early promise in the sport. Her career reached its pinnacle when she competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she joined an elite group of Hungarian wrestlers at the Olympic Games. In 2017, she earned recognition for her skill and perseverance by winning a silver medal at the European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia. Throughout her athletic career, Németh continued to pursue qualification for major competitions, including making a determined effort to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics through multiple competitions in 2021. She competed at the European Qualification Tournament in Budapest and the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Sofia, and also participated in the European Wrestling Championships in Warsaw. Her commitment to wrestling and to representing Hungary reflected the dedication required to succeed in elite international sport.
